How do I get an application for the Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher Program?

There are three ways to get an application. The first is to come to the Pine Ridge Apartments located at 316 Pine St. Marquette, MI 49855. The office is located on the first floor and is open from 9 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. However, the Marquette Housing Commission (MHC) is closed from noon to 1 pm for lunch. The second is to get the application directly from the website here. The third way to receive an application is to contact the MHC at 906-226-7559 Extension 2 and request that one be mailed to you.

How do I know when I have been put on the wait list?

You will be notified in writing that you have made the wait list. The wait list will give you the approximate time you can be expect to be called for an orientation. How long you are on the wait list depends on how many families are in front of you, how many families leave the program, and the level of program funding.
